I did finish my February Lady Sweater.

I think it's really beautiful. Unfortunately I made a size larger than I should have. I can't bear to rip out all that work and start over again so for now it's in my cedar chest and I will probably give it as a gift at some point in the future. I also need to take the buttons off and re-sew them on because they don't sit quite right. I'm going to knit it again in a smaller size once I get some extra cash to invest in nice yarn. Maybe green this time, so that I won't feel like I'm knitting the exact same thing all over again. My favorite pieces rarely fit me properly. It's like the Deep-V Argyle vest that I knit twice. The first time it came out big enough to be a dress. The second time the bust was too large. (I keep meaning to give it to Jesi to try on because she has huge boobies and it would probably fit her perfectly and then at least someone would get some use out of it.)
I've got to start thinking about Christmas knitting too. My SIL's scarf is done and I'm thinking about making scarves for both my sisters and nieces as well. The project I wanted to give my MIL last Christmas hasn't been knit on in over a year. Mom and Jim will probably get socks but I just don't know if I'm going to have the time, or the energy for that matter, to knit something for everyone. I really wanted to knit a nice lace tablecloth for my grandma. I need to finish Lilly's doll (and all the clothes that go with her) and I want to make her blanket. I also need to finish my nephew's sweater. And my BIL and FIL are still waiting for hats..... There just aren't enough hours in my day. I'd have to knit on things for other people from now until Christmas Eve and I really want to finish some things for me.
holy cow! that is beautiful! teach me how to knit!
