State Fair Entries

Sunday I dropped off my state fair entries. I entered 5 pieces this year. I've blogged about all of them, but here they are all together.


My Noni Garden Party Bag, felted purses category.


Ene's Scarf, knitted lace category.

I think the socks are my favorite piece. Hubby loves the Ene's Scarf, he thinks it's the best work I've done so far. But he doesn't know how complicated color work is and that I'm sort of crazy for using 7 different colors of yarn to make a pair of socks. :)

I also submitted one of my ceramic pieces as well. It's a vase I made with Lilly's hand prints on it. I don't expect it to get a ribbon, since I only had the one semester of wheel-throwing, but it would be nice to see it displayed.

I'm really anxious this year. Last year I entered fully prepaired to not get any ribbons and wound up with two. I think my work has really improved since then so getting at least one ribbon this year would be nice.
