(Yes those pasty white legs are my own. I really need some sun.) Progress made on the lace? Not so much. And since I have to slip the sock on every few rounds now to check if I need to keep increasing or start decreasing, which makes it increasingly harder to have as portable knitting, I've started another project. I saw Harriet working on one of these these at the last SSK and since I have a million little balls of leftover sock yarn I started one.

It's really quick knitting. I've never done mitered squares before and it's an easy way to learn. Plus instant gratification knitting is always welcome. I've also had help with my knitting.

She likes to contribute short, black fibers to my knitting projects. I like to think it gives my socks a little extra reinforcement. However, I'm not too thrilled about it when it comes to my lacework.
