Project Lust

The new Interweave Knits is jaw-dropping. Everyone's been raving about it and now that I have a copy in my hands I understand why. There are 4 sweaters in this issue that I am in love with. FOUR!!!


Nantucket. I love this little sweater but I would will make the sleeves longer.


Arwen. I love the cables on this sweater. I want it longer though. I'm thinking a zipper or maybe pretty silver frogs for closure. I wouldn't want it to just hang open like that.


Pewter. This is the perfect lounging around the house sweater. Or running to the store. Or wearing to work. I want to make mom one first, since she's so tiny. I figure it will give me a good test-run.


And Rambling Rose. I don't care much for the color combo, I'd prefer shades of green or blue, but the sweater is so pretty. They don't have a photo of the back of it on their site but they show it in the magazine and it's stunning.

And on top of these four great sweaters there is a shawl and fingerless gloves that I love as well.



It's not often that I find 6 patterns I love in a book, let alone a magazine. I'm going to be in sweater-knitting heaven all winter. Now I just need to finish all the projects I'm currently working on. *sigh*
