I really want to recreate this. I'm not too sure about the ribbon around the waist. I'm not a fan of sash closures on sweaters. Big wooden buttons would be cute though. And longer sleeves of course. What's the point of a sweater with short sleeves anyway?
It's finally chilly enough to really sit and knit. After this miserably hot summer it's a welcome change. I finished the sweet little pink dress for my SIL's baby girl who will be coming any day now. Did this forgetful knitter take a picture of it? No, of course not. Hopefully we can get the little one to model it for us this spring. Plus I whipped out a new hat for Lilly. She loves it. I'll try to post some photos of her in it soon.
The majority of my knitting time has been spent on grandma's blanket. Apparently my block of the month club stopped meeting so I'm winging the last 4 blocks and the first two look pretty good. 2 more to go and then seaming and a border. I need to get this thing finished by Christmas. It's just so important to me. I promise I'll post pictures when I'm done.
