The socks are from two balls of the same dye lot, yet the pooling is much different on the second sock. It's annoying. I wish Knitpicks made Sock Memories in one big skein, instead of two small ones. I had a secret fear that this would happen. Oh well, they are fraternal twins instead of identical ones.
The hubby went to the open casting call for Survivor this morning. He waited in line and was #25, so he'll be interviewed around 3:30 this afternoon. He's pretty excited about it. For a man who hates camping it's strange that he's willing to spend 6 weeks outside without the basic comforts planned camping provides. (Like a tent and a sleeping bag.) If he gets picked to be on the show I think he'll win. Seriously. I hope his interview goes really well today.
