Maze Socks

I'm working on the Maze socks from Sensational Knitted Socks. Row 11 of the written chart has a mistake in it (it should read K4, NOT K5) and I sat there knowing something was wrong. I looked at the graphed chart and it was pretty clear. Curious to know if I was going to encounter more mistakes in the pattern I looked up the errata here and was pretty peeved to discover 11 corrections. I know that with a sock pattern book mistakes are bound to be made, I mean the book is full of numbers and charts, but 11? I've already made the Caesar's Check pattern, which also has errors in it that I encountered at the time but thought I had made a boo-boo so I just tweaked it.

I'm working on these in black and purple for mom. This time I'm making her socks out of Cascade Fixation, so that no matter how she washes or dries them we won't have another 'felting incident'.

  1. that stinks about the 11 corrections! How annoying! It's like reading a book that is full of spelling and grammar mistakes!
