I've finally made a Clapotis

I may very well be the last knitter on earth to make a Clapotis, but now that I've made one I'm in love.

I used 2 skeins of Socks that Rock heavyweight in the Titiana colorway. I couldn't get the colors to photograph very well, so you'll just have to take my word for it when I tell you that it's really, really beautiful.

I've forced myself to make time for knitting this semester in an effort to preserve my sanity. I honestly think it's helping.

Plus I have Arizona/Nevada to look forward to. I'll be gone pretty much all of May, living out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The last 10 days of our field school will be at Shivwits Plateau and we will be roughing it, sleeping in tents and we will be about 4 hours from the nearest town. I'm really excited. :)

  1. Never fear sweetie, you aren't the last. I have yet to make one because every Clap that I've started I have royally bungled. Maybe by the time I am 90....
