A little bit of knitting

We had just a small strech of winter-like weather here before it jumped back into the 60's.

I pulled out the wool socks but I'm not sure how much more use they will get this winter if this screwy weather keeps up.

I did myself a huge favor this year, I decided to not do any Christmas knitting. I've been so buzy with work and school that knitting has been my only escape. I don't want to ruin it by attempting to knit like a madwoman through November and December.

I did make a Jayne Cobb hat for a classmate.

But it went insanely fast and only took me a day to knit and that's including the time I spent ripping and re-knitting the top portion.

I also started a Juno Regina scarf for myself.

But there's not been much knitting going on other than that. I've got a lot of papers to write and just like clockwork I think I'm coming down with some nasty bug. I've spent the last two days feeling like I've been punched in the stomach. My stomach is really sore and I have zero appetite. I chalk it up to the stress I've been under and I figure that once these papers are out of the way I'll start feeling better.
