Not much has been going on. The Lace-up cardigan is finished and hopefully I'll have modeled shots soon. It's huge on Lilly but at least I finished something before she outgrew it for a change. She's pretty pleased that mommy finally knit something for her.
I am finally starting to realize that I have lost a lot of weight since last year. (Although my ass doesn't look any smaller to me, how is that possible? Anyway.) I put on a pair of jeans last week that fit me pretty well in spring and I was able to pull them all the way down without unbuttoning them. I went through my closet last weekend and got rid of all the tops that are too big on me.

That's a lot of free hangers, which of course means I need to do some shopping. :) I did buy myself a few new tops for fall so I'm itching for cooler weather. I'll enjoy these 75 degree days for as long as I can though. I'm really proud of myself because this won't be a temporary weight loss. I have really made an effort to change my overall eating habits which is why the weight loss has been slow, but I know that it will be for good. I will never, ever let myself gain weight like that again. I am really starting to be happy with my figure for the first time in a long time. I'm still pretty curvy but I'm okay with that. I've decided that curvy suits me.
In knitting news, I've finally cast on for the Kauni sweater. Well, let me correct myself. I've cast on for it about 6 times now.
This is where it was right before I had to rip it, again.

It looked great but then the purples matched up so I ripped it out and started again and I am much happier. I'll take a new photo once I'm a couple repeats into it. This is probably going to be my default project this fall/winter. How much do you want to bet I finish it just in time for warm weather in the spring? I'd really like to crank it out and be done with it so I can start Jim's sweater. With all the cables I know it will take me a year to finish his.
