I may never get to knit again

It's been awhile since I've updated this. School is pretty overwhelming this semester and I've done very little knitting. I'm still working on the second sleeve of Lilly's sweater. I wanted to knit gifts for people for Christmas. Yeah, that's not going to happen. Thankfully I cranked out the baby blanket for my nephew that's coming in December awhile ago. Otherwise he'd be born long before it was finished.

I may not feel like I'm getting squat done, but my husband has been a busy bee. He and my BIL built a porch on the front of our house this weekend.

A porch was really the first thing we talked about doing to the house and I'm so happy we finally did it. In the spring he's talking about building the roof and then putting up the railing. I attempted to enjoy our new porch last night but the mosquitoes ate me alive. It wasn't pleasant.

Since I have no knitting news I figured I could share of photo of the vase that got me a 2nd place ribbon at the fair this year.

Yes, it really does have the 'F word' bleeped out all over it. It's fitting actually, since the workload this semester makes me want to say this word a LOT.
