I'm starting it all over. I'm a whole 5 rows into the second attempt. It's not really good tv knitting since I have to pay close attention to the chart. (I totally blabbed about it to the person it's going to be for, so I can post pics now.)
This has been my tv knitting.
It's grown a lot since the last time I posted it. I'm really pleased with the way it's turning out.
Under that blanket-in-progress is my new love seat.
The people that live across the street from my BIL were throwing away this love seat and a matching 7-foot couch. Yes, throwing them away. We took them both. The big couch is in the garage because my back will not cooperate with my husband long enough to move our current couch, a very heavy hide-a-bed, into the garage. Apparently these people got new furniture and didn't want this stuff anymore (along with a bunch of other furniture they were tossing out). It still looks almost brand new. There's a few spots on the arms of the love seat but I think they'll come out with some upholstery cleaner and a little elbow grease. I vacuumed them off really well and there's not a thing wrong with either of them; no funny smell, no rips, and not infested with fleas. They are quite comfy and are made of a white corduroy-ish material. I can't believe it. The stuff some people throw away, huh?
the knitting looks pretty good - love the blanket - which pattern are you using?
