All's quiet on the Midwestern front

There may not be too many updates in the next few weeks from me unless some sort of miracle occurs. (Like gnomes finishing some projects for me while I'm sleeping.) This is the current state of my knitting.



Exciting, no? I want to finish this in time to enter it in the state fair. I'm currently just over 1/2 way done on the center panel. So if I hope to finish the thing in time to enter it then I'm going to have to excercise some project monogamy. And since there's only so many times you can photograph the progress of a shawl...well it doesn't make for good blog fodder.

So I haven't fallen off the blog, I'm still diligently knitting away as well, I'm just going to hunker down and finish this damn thing. We'll see how that goes since there's class, homework, and my family duties (cooking and cleaning are so over-rated) that tend to get in the way.
