This is the beginning of the Seascape Shawl that I'm making for my MIL. Spring Break is finally here and I'm hoping to get to at least the half-way point in this by Friday. (Har, har. I know.) I'm through the third chart though, so I'm off to a decent start.
I also finished attempt #2 on the Deep V Argyle Vest.
It's still too freakin big. But this time it was so close that it's really unfair. I'm not happy about it. It's just too long. I'm hoping I can tweak it a bit at the shoulders but it's in purgatory right now. I can't bring myself to even look at it I'm so frustrated. It's either unravel the neck and arm bands and try to fix it, or find someone with much bigger boobs than I and see if it fits them. I want to wear it so bad. I even have pink and gray striped shell-toed Adidas that would look perfect with it. Argh. Stupid row gauge.
i have bigger boobs! you can give it to me; i'll even tell the truth when people ask if i made it.
