Electric shocks and needle pokes

Friday I suffered exactly what the title of this post says. I went to see a neurologist about my carpal tunnel. My dad had the tests done but neglected to explain to me what is actually involved. First the doctor put little stickers on my hands and wrists and clipped wires to them. Then he proceeded to shock the shit out of me. "Mild" shocks. *pfft* They HURT! Then he put a needle in 6 different spots on my right arm (I hate needles. The tattoos and nose ring are different. No, seriously, they are different.) and had me flex the muscles in my arm all different directions. So by the time it was done my wrists and hands were aching plus I was bleeding. I have little bruises all over my right arm. :( Hopefully I'll find out soon if I just need the cortisone injections or if I need surgery.

Knitting has been sparse. I finished the first of Jesi's socks (from the last post) and hopefully I'll cast on for the second one tonight. I have so many projects I want to start (mainly another deep-v arglye vest, in gray and baby pink this time) but there are so many things I need to finish. Grandma's blanket being the top priority at this point.

I am so happy I decided on limited Christmas knitting this year. It's nice to be able to look forward to the holidays, instead of seeing them as a deadline.
