Yesterday was the open house for the State Fair. Basically you get to see all the stuff that won ribbons before they open the midway or the concessions. So we went.
And I WON!!!! :DDD
My little green pea pod sweater placed 1st, a BLUE RIBBON! And the socks I made mom won honorable mention! My shawl didn't place but it was displayed. All three things I submitted were in the case! That alone makes me giddy, the fact I won two ribbons makes me all tingly. :D

Congartulations on your two ribbons! that's really wonderful, especially since the pea pod sweater was your first sweater at all. what an accomplishment!
