I Hate Visiting the Frog Pond

There's been a whole lot more frogging than knitting going on here lately. I'm still working on the Maze Socks for mom.

So far all I have is a cuff and a heel flap. Yesterday I had a turned heel and had picked up stitches. I was working on the gusset decreases when I thought something just didn't seem right. So I checked the errata and found another huge, freaking mistake. The pattern in the book says to PU 34 on each side of the heel flap, an awfully high number, I know. The errata makes the correction to PU 17....HUGE DIFFERENCE.

*sigh*

So I ripped and then I ripped some more and now I'm back to where I was two days ago. Argh.

But at least I have a cute little bag to carry it around in.

The hubby bought this for me for a whopping $5 this past weekend. It's just the right size for sock knitting.

The Snowdrop Shawl is slowly growing, but not enough to warrant attention at this point. I've just been working on it in the evenings after Lil Bit goes to bed. I need to plan out some new projects. I think a baby sweater for my SIL might be in order.
