I suck at updating this thing.

Life has been crazy lately. Not only am I fumbling my way through my last full semester of school, but now I've got to start thinking about kindergarten enrollment for Lillian. Kindergarten!!!

Wasn't it just yesterday that I brought her home from the hospital? I can't believe how big the little baby with red peach-fuzz has gotten. She's learning to sound out words already, soon she'll be reading and tying her own shoes. She's already under the impression that she doesn't need me. Except when she wants me to buy her something. Or when she injures herself. (Which happens a lot.)

Despite the insanity my life has become I did participate in the Knitting Olympics. :) And I got gold. Heheh.



I started out planning to make a pair of mittens. I ended up knitting two shawls instead. I still count it because it was a major accomplishment and just because it wasn't what I planned on making doesn't mean it shouldn't count. Athletes have to change their game plan all the time...this is sort of the same. Only not.

Hopefully I'll get around to posting pictures.

But probably not. My camera batteries are dead and I can't find my cord. And I have a list of other excuses as to why I "can't" post pictures. (Mostly I'm just too lazy.)
