The blue pair on the left are toe-up Jaywalkers I started on the plane trip to Las Vegas. The pair on the right are Nutkin socks. I also started another pair of Jaywalkers.

I'm also working on a state fair project that I need to have completed in less than a month if I hope to enter it.

It's a baby dress. I've made one already, a little over a year ago I think, for my youngest niece. This one is the 12 month size, made to fit the daughter of a co-worker who should be just the right size come winter or spring. I'm worried about having enough yarn to complete it, since it's something from my stash which is unlabeled. I'm pretty sure it's some acrylic I bought at JoAnn's so I may be able to score some more of it. *Crosses fingers*
We're finally going to get the massive maple tree out of the backyard. This is the sight that greeted me when I came home after a month out west.

That wall in the last picture? That's our bedroom. That's how close the tree came to the house. We were very, very lucky. The landlord next door to us offered to haul the part in our yard away when he has his part removed this week for about half of what we were quoted by someone else. So now we'll have a yard again and we can fix the fence so Bella can run around.
