We've spent a lot of time outdoors this summer and the result is that we've both got a lot more blonde in our hair. I'm hoping her red will darken up again this winter. She's also finally getting over the nasty cold/sinus infection and is starting to act like her old, demanding, persistance, far too intelligent self. I can't believe my sweet girl is going to be 3 this coming Sunday. I'm starting to understand why my mom still calls me her baby. No matter how much my sweet girl grows I still look at her and see the tiny infant that had just the slightest bit of red fuzz for hair.
I'm also pleased today, despite this nasty cold that leaves me feeling foggy, off balance, and has my ears ringing. The Kauni sweater seems to be behaving this time around and lest I jinx it I'm waiting to take pictures until it's a little further along. I also have cute (and comfy!) new shoes that make me happy every time I look down at their shiny patent leather toes.
I may have to knit a sweater to match them.
The cardi looks great the rate Lil is growing she will be in it in no time.
