Yarn and hunger pains

Things have been chaotic in my world.

Work is keeping me super busy. But my check tomorrow will have $400 in overtime on it. HOT DOG!

So I splurged a bit. Michael's had Wool-Ease on sale for $2 a ball so I bought enough to make sweaters for Jim, Lilly, and myself. $40 total. Not bad at all. And I just put in an order to Elann for 17 balls of baby cashmere. MMmmmmmmmm. It's mostly to make scarves for my co-workers so I don't feel too guilty since it will (hopefully) be out of the stash by Christmas. I haven't bought yarn in months. So my overall guilt is minimal.

My youngest sister, Brittany, had surgery yesterday. Her breast was infected (they think it was in the milk ducts) and they had to lance it and leave it open so it can drain. Yuck. The worst part is that she keeps having reactions to the pain meds they have her on. Mostly they are making her sick and giving her migranes. It sounds totally miserable and I feel so bad for her. :(

I'm so far behind in my ceramics class that I'm afraid I'll never catch up. I need to go out this weekend and buy underglases for our latest project; vases and covered jars.

I've been waiting two hours for my lunch to get here. First they brought me the wrong sandwich. Then they delivered the correct one to the wrong building. Then they brought me the wrong one, AGAIN. So now I am still waiting for the right friggen sandwich to get here. It will have taken them four attempts (provided they get it right this time) to get the correct sandwich to me. I'm fucking hungry! >:|
